  • iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Ultra Design Leaked; Thicker Camera Module Tipped

iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Ultra Design Leaked; Thicker Camera Module Tipped

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup has surfaced in a fresh leak, revealing key design details of the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a possible iPhone Ultra (or Fold model).

The leak comes via YouTube channel Max Tech’s Vadim Yuryev, who shared images of dummy units on X (formerly Twitter). These images suggest that while the overall design may remain largely similar to last year’s models, there could be one notable change.

    Thicker Camera Module Expected

According to the leak, the iPhone 18 Pro series may feature a noticeably thicker camera module. The “black glass” covering the camera area is said to protrude more compared to previous generations.

In terms of dimensions, the total thickness of the iPhone 17 Pro Max (including the camera plateau) was reportedly 11.23mm, which could increase to around 11.54mm on the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Additionally, the overall thickness with the camera bump may rise from 12.92mm to approximately 13.77mm.

Dummy units like these are typically created by accessory manufacturers using leaked CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files from supply chain partners, and are often used to prepare cases ahead of launch.

    Variable Aperture Camera Could Debut

The iPhone 18 Pro series is also tipped to introduce a variable aperture system for the primary camera. This feature could allow users to control how much light enters the sensor, enabling better depth-of-field control and more natural background blur, similar to DSLR cameras.

In low-light conditions, this system could improve image quality by allowing more light into the sensor, resulting in brighter shots with better detail and reduced noise.

    Bigger Battery, Heavier Build Likely

The leak also suggests that the new models could be heavier than their predecessors, possibly due to larger batteries. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is rumoured to pack the biggest battery ever in an iPhone, with a capacity estimated between 5,100mAh and 5,200mAh.

iPhone 18 Pro Series Expected Specifications

    iPhone 18 Pro (Expected):

    • 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display
    • 1Hz–120Hz ProMotion refresh rate
    • A20 Pro chip (TSMC 2nm process)
    • 12GB RAM
    • 48-megapixel main camera with variable aperture
    • 48-megapixel tetraprism telephoto (5x optical zoom)
    • 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera
    • 24-megapixel front camera
    • Under-display Face ID (expected)
    • Wi-Fi 7 and 5G Advanced connectivity

    iPhone 18 Pro Max (Expected):

    • 6.9-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display
    • 1Hz–120Hz ProMotion refresh rate
    • A20 Pro chip
    • 12GB RAM
    • 48-megapixel (or higher) main camera with larger sensor
    • 48-megapixel tetraprism telephoto (5x optical zoom)
    • 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera
    • 24-megapixel front camera
    • Under-display Face ID (expected)
    • Wi-Fi 7 and 5G Advanced connectivity

    What the Leak Suggests

While these details provide an early look at what to expect, it is important to note that Apple has not officially confirmed any of these features. As with most leaks based on dummy units and CAD renders, the final design and specifications may differ at launch.

Realme Watch S5 Also in the Works

Alongside the smartphone, the Realme Watch S5 has also received SIRIM certification, indicating that the brand may unveil both devices together. The smartwatch has previously been approved by Indonesia’s SDPPI authority, pointing to a broader rollout across multiple markets.

While specifications of the Realme Watch S5 remain under wraps, it is expected to succeed the Realme Watch S2, which was launched in 2024. Notably, the company appears to have skipped the Watch S3 and Watch S4 naming scheme.

The smartwatch has also surfaced on the BIS certification platform, suggesting that India could be among the first markets to receive it.

    Launch Timeline

Although Realme has not officially confirmed the launch dates for the Realme 16T 5G and Realme Watch S5, multiple certifications across regions indicate that an announcement could take place soon.

  • Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Leak Reveals 10,000mAh Battery, Dimensity 7500 Chip and 200MP Camera

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Leak Reveals 10,000mAh Battery, Dimensity 7500 Chip and 200MP Camera

More details about the upcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro Max have surfaced online, offering an early look at what Xiaomi may bring to its next mid-range smartphone. The handset is expected to succeed the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, although early indications suggest that it may not introduce significant generational upgrades despite the updated naming scheme.

The Redmi Note 15 series, which includes multiple models ranging from 4G to premium variants, is still relatively new in global markets. However, the lineup is nearing a year since its debut in China, and fresh references to the next-generation devices have now been spotted in HyperOS code. Current leaks appear to focus primarily on the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, while standard and Pro variants are also rumoured to be in development.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Specifications (Leaked)

According to details sourced from internal code and industry leaks, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max could be powered by a MediaTek chipset bearing the model number MT6881. This is believed to correspond to the upcoming Dimensity 7500 SoC. For comparison, the predecessor was equipped with a lower-tier Dimensity chip in certain markets.

In terms of optics, the smartphone is tipped to retain a similar camera setup to its predecessor. It is said to feature a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP5 primary sensor, accompanied by an 8-megapixel OmniVision OV08F10 ultra-wide camera. Notably, there is no mention of a telephoto sensor, even though the device is expected to sit at the top of the lineup. For selfies and video calls, the handset may include a 32-megapixel Samsung S5KKDS front-facing camera.

    Battery, Charging, and Display Details

One of the most notable upgrades could come in the form of battery capacity. The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is tipped to pack a massive 10,000mAh battery, which would make it the largest battery ever seen on a Redmi smartphone. However, reports suggest that the global variant could feature a slightly smaller 9,210mAh battery, possibly due to regulatory requirements in certain regions.

The device is also expected to support 100W fast charging, which could help offset the increased charging time typically associated with large batteries.

On the display front, leaks indicate that the phone may feature a large 7-inch flat panel, marking a shift towards bigger screen sizes in the series.

    Launch Timeline and Availability

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is expected to debut in China around July or August this year. As with previous Redmi Note releases, global availability may follow later, potentially extending into late 2026 or early 2027 depending on the market.

While several specifications have surfaced, key details such as pricing and additional hardware features remain under wraps. More information is likely to emerge closer to the official launch.
